Terms of Use

Effective date: September 17, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Zarflo mobile app and its related services (sync, Zarflo Plus, and Birlikte). Zarflo is provided by Veli Kesgin (developer of Zarflo, individual) (“Zarflo”, “we”, “us”).

By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data.

1. Your account

• You must be at least 18 in Turkey, or at least 16 in the EU/EEA, to use Zarflo.
• You’re responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your password safe.
• If you notice unauthorized use of your account, email destek@zarflo.app right away.
• You can delete your account at any time in Menu → Settings → Delete account.

2. What Zarflo is, and what it isn’t

Zarflo is a tool that helps you manage your budget by giving your money envelopes.

• Zarflo isn’t a bank, payment institution, or investment adviser. It doesn’t hold or move money.
• Exchange rates and gold prices in the app are for information only. They come from the European Central Bank (ECB) and gold-api.com and may be delayed or inaccurate. They aren’t trading rates and aren’t investment advice.
• Monthly reports, calculations, and suggestions are based on the data you enter. They’re informational, not financial advice.
• You’re responsible for your own financial decisions and their outcomes.

3. Zarflo Plus subscription

Zarflo’s core features are free. Zarflo Plus is a paid subscription that adds features such as AI receipt reading.

Prices (Turkey):

Prices may differ by country and currency. The price that applies is the one shown in the App Store or Google Play when you buy.

Free trial: you can try Plus free for 7 days. Trial eligibility is set by the store’s rules. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, your chosen plan starts and you’ll be charged.

Auto-renewal: your subscription renews for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your store account is charged for renewal within the last 24 hours of the period.

Payment: Apple or Google process all payments; we never see your card details. We use RevenueCat to verify purchases and unlock Plus.

Managing and cancelling:

• iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Zarflo
• Android: Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Zarflo

Deleting the app or your Zarflo account does not cancel your subscription. After you cancel, Plus stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.

Refunds: refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies. We can’t refund store payments directly.

Price changes: if we change prices, you’ll be notified in advance under the store’s rules and asked to agree where required.

Fair use: to prevent abuse, AI receipt reading has a daily usage limit.

4. Birlikte and community rules

Birlikte lets you track shared expenses with friends in invite-only groups.

• You join a group through an invite link. Members see the group name, members’ nicknames, and all of the group’s expenses and balances. Other members never see your email address.
• Zarflo doesn’t hold or move money. It only records who paid for what. Members settle up with each other outside Zarflo.
• Members enter the records themselves. We don’t verify them, and we’re not a party to disputes between members.
• If you leave a group or delete your account, your expenses stay in the group and you’re shown as “Former member”.

In Birlikte, don’t:

• Commit fraud, such as recording fake debts or creating groups to deceive people
• Harass, threaten, or insult anyone
• Use illegal content in group names, nicknames, or descriptions
• Post invite links publicly (social media, forums, etc.). Anyone with the link can ask to join, so share it only with people you know.

Reporting and blocking: you can report a member or group and block members from within the app. Zarflo’s operator reviews reports. We may remove or restrict groups, content, or accounts that break these rules.

5. Prohibited use

When using Zarflo, don’t:

• Use the service for anything illegal
• Try to gain unauthorized access to our systems, disrupt the service, or overload it with automated tools
• Copy, modify, or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it
• Use someone else’s account

6. Your data and our rights

• The budget data you enter belongs to you. You give us permission to store, sync, and process it only to provide the service.
• You can export your data as CSV from the app.
• The Zarflo name, logo, design, and software belong to us. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the app.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, abuse the service, or harm others. Where possible, we’ll let you know first. If your account is closed, you’ll need to cancel your subscription in the store separately.

8. The service “as is”

We provide Zarflo “as is”. We don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free; maintenance, updates, or technical problems may cause temporary outages. We recommend exporting important data regularly.

We may improve, change, or remove features. We’ll announce important changes to Zarflo Plus in advance.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Turkish law, we’re not liable for:

• Financial decisions you make based on information in the app
• Delays or errors in exchange rate and gold price data
• Disputes between Birlikte members
• Indirect damages

This doesn’t limit our liability for intent or gross negligence.

Your statutory rights as a consumer, including under Turkey’s Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, are not affected. Nothing in these terms limits them.

10. Apple terms for iOS users

If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) also applies. These terms are between you and us only. Apple isn’t a party to them and isn’t responsible for the app or its support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We’ll announce important changes in the app. If you keep using the app after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. The courts and enforcement offices of the Republic of Turkey have jurisdiction over disputes.

Consumers keep their right to apply to Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts in Turkey within the statutory monetary limits. Consumers living in the EU/EEA keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of their country of residence.
